How to use the result
For the supported same-day bus visit, parking is free and an adult return costs £4. Two adults can travel for £6 from 09:30 Monday to Friday; this calculation excludes public holidays from that offer. A £13 group ticket is considered only when the whole party, excluding under-fives, has no more than five people. Up to five children aged 5 to 15 travel free per paying adult. Under-fives are free and need not be entered. Young people aged 16 or over belong in the adult field. The result selects the lowest of these modelled ticket combinations, not every possible pass or concession.
Before you travel
Newbridge serves the western approach and Westgate Buildings, with a 2 m height limit. Lansdown serves the northern approach and Milsom Street; no height restriction is stated by Travelwest. Odd Down serves the southern approach and SouthGate, with a 2.2 m height limit. Include roof boxes when entering height and check the entrance signs. Odd Down service 4 has different fares and is excluded. Normal last departures from the centre are 23:30 Monday to Saturday and 18:00 on Sundays and certain public holidays; check the current timetable for exceptions. No service on Easter Sunday, 25 and 26 December or 1 January. Overnight and parking without the bus are outside this calculation. They incur separate parking charges; open 24 hours does not mean buses run all night or that camping is permitted.

For a daytime stay entirely between 08:00 and 18:00, MiPermit publishes £7.60 to £9.80 up to four hours and £11.40 to £14.90 up to six hours at Charlotte Street. Enter the group P+R price calculated above. We preserve the range because your vehicle determines the exact charge.

For Newbridge, service 21 leaves the city from Westgate Buildings. Travelwest lists the last regular departure as 23:30 Monday to Saturday and 18:00 Sunday, with public-holiday and event exceptions. Confirm your date first, then subtract your own walking time and waiting margin below.
