A starting point for the Cinque Terre by train
Leave the car in La Spezia, go to La Spezia Centrale and choose a regional train serving the village you want to visit. The National Park advises against touring the villages by car because roads and parking are limited. Parking here and the train journey are separate parts of the trip.
Park Centro Stazione
The operator lists access from Via Paleocapa and Via Fiume/Piazzetta Ancona, opening around the clock and no advance booking. Keep the parking ticket for pedestrian re-entry. The charge varies with the season, time of day and length of stay; a single hourly figure would not describe the full tariff. Consult the operator’s current table.
Choose a ticket for the planned visits
The Cinque Terre single ticket covers one journey without an intermediate sightseeing stop followed by reboarding on the same ticket. For repeated regional journeys between La Spezia and Levanto, compare the Cinque Terre Treno MS Card. Check the date-specific fare and the final return train before leaving the car.
