Portovenere: good to know before you park
Check the zone and season
The tourist consortium distinguishes P1, P2, P3 and Il Golfo at Cavo. Its published high season runs from 15 March to 15 October; the lower-season conditions run from 16 October to 14 March. Free parking listed for P3 or Il Golfo in the lower season must not be read as year-round free parking. Check the signs for the current charge and charging hours.
Cavo shuttle: check the operating dates
ATC lists Girobus del Cavo between the Il Golfo area and the centre. The announcement checked for 2026 covers 26 and 27 September, then 3 and 4 October, from 9:00 to 20:00 with departures every 15 minutes. The €2 ticket covers two rides and must be validated on each boarding. This announcement does not establish a daily year-round shuttle.
Fezzano is a different destination
The municipal area also includes Fezzano and Le Grazie. A space in these villages is not a space at the entrance to the historic centre of Portovenere: plan the onward journey separately. The parking map includes only sites whose locations have been verified.
